Picture Jasper cut into perfect ovals in shades of
brown, tan, sand, creamy white and black. Each stone
seems to tell a story about the shifting sands of
the desert landscape. Stone size is approximately
1 x 0.75 inches; depth is approximately 0.25 inches.

Picture Jasper #1 is accented with toasty-brown and
charcoal grey beads in addition to sterling silver.
Picture Jasper #2 is accented with sparkling faceted
taupe glass and sterling silver beads.

Rhodonite in its distinct
"grainy" pink to rose-red color also has some soft
brown-black and grey tones. Rhodonite is sometimes
confused with Rhodochrosite, which has a creamy
white marble coloration. Two stone shapes are available:

Large Rhodonite stones are cut into
faceted, perfect ovals. These thick opaque stones
are heavy, each measuring approximately 2-inches
long, more than 1-inch wide, and 0.25 inches
thick at the center.
Choose
from two designs (l-r):
Rhodonite-large #20 is accented by a rhodonite
rondelle and a clear faceted glass "pumpkin"
bead.
Rhodonite-large #21 also has a rhodonite rondelle
and a frosted glass bead.
Both pendants also have sterling silver accents.

If you prefer a more delicate, lighter
weight pendant, consider these Rhodonite "Waves"
which are approximately 1.25 x 1 inches.
Choose
from two designs (l-r):
Rhodonite-Wave # 4 accented with black glass
and rhodonite beads.
Rhodonite-Wave # 5 also accented with black
glass and rhodonite beads in a different style.
Both pendants also have sterling silver accents.

CHAROITE

|
Charoite is a newer semiprecious gemstone from
Russia that was discovered around 1978 near
the Charo River in the Murun Mountains in Yakutia
(Siberia). The color of this unusual stone ranges
from opaque lilac to a deep violet. It is characterized
by a natural swirling and fibrous pattern of
white and black swirling strands and/or patches.
Some Charoites may have unique flame designs.
The "diamond-shaped" Charoites shown here measure
approximately 1 inch square and are a chunky
0.25 inches thick.

Charoite #8 with metallic and silver-grey glass

BLUE
LACE AGATE
|
Blue
Lace Agate in a soft light blue with swirling
white bands. Two Blue Lace stones are used to
create each of these beautiful pendants. The larger
stones are approximately 0.75 inches "almost"
square and the smaller stones are 0.5 x 0.25 inches.
Stones have a depth of approximately 0.25 inches.

BLUE
CHALCEDONY
|
Blue Chalcedony in "blue mist" (a royal blue
with a hint of lavender) shows small speckles
of a silvery-grey mist throughout. These semi-rounded
abstract-shaped beads are slightly translucent,
and measure approximately 0.75 x 0.5 inches.
Both styles are accented with sparkling faceted
glass beads in disc and oval shapes.

AFRICAN
JASPER

|
African Jasper in a medley of earthtones that
distinguish this unusual stone which ranges
from brick red, to creamy white, to shades of
brown. Each stone captures a small piece of
the African landscape! The stones are "diamond"
shaped and approximately 1 x 1 inch. All have
accent beads in solid black, metallic black
and brick red glass in addition to sterling
silver.

TIGER
IRON

Tiger Iron is a mixture of red jasper, tiger's-eye
matrix and hematite, which creates unique striped
patterns in silver-grey, deep-to-golden yellows,
and brown and red tones. The 1.375 x 1 inch
"pillowed" rectangles in Miriam's Collection
show the characteristic vibrant golden-yellow
coloration mixed with rich chocolate tones,
brick red and black also accented
with the metallic sheen of hematite. Currently
mined in Australia, don't confuse this stone
with Tiger's Eye which has a "cat's eye" fiber-optic
appearance.
