The bright mint green that splashes through these unusual GREEN OPALS, contrasts sharply with the varying shades of brown that form a mosaic throughout each stone. In the sunlight, you can see hints of an almost-iridescent golden brown. But don’t let the “Opal” name of this stone fool you! GREEN OPALS are called “Common Opals” – they are opaque and rarely translucent like the “Precious Opals” that have fiery play-of-color and rainbow hues. GREEN OPALS will look especially beautiful against the whites, bright greens, yellows and beiges of spring and summer fashions; AND they will look lovely with the browns and taupes of fall – as well as the grays and blacks of winter. Miriam calls GREEN OPALS “truly a gemstone for all seasons!” ALSO IN THIS COLLECTION... MINT GREEN CHALCEDONY. CHALCEDONY is one of the world’s oldest gemstones. It is a variety of quartz, comes in various colors, and may be either translucent or transparent. For this Collection, Miriam chose a soft mint green.

| GREEN OPAL & "SWIRLED SILVER" PENDANT, NECKLACE & EARRINGS
The smooth square GREEN OPAL focal stone show here is 1.5 x 1.5 inches and has depth of 0.25 inches. Miriam’s Signature Swirl adds a special touch! The basic stone is toped with a smaller accent GREEN OPAL. The full necklace measures 23.5 inches, and has an abundance of oval and square green opals showing the same outstanding color variations and mosaic as the pendant stone. Matching GREEN OPAL Earrings dangle 1.25 inches from sterling silver lever-backed (hinged) earwires. |

| GREEN OPAQUE OPAL PENDANT, NECKLACE & EARRINGS
The natural colorations of this square-cut GREEN OPAL illustrate a wonder of nature - how stones of the same family always exhibit totally different mosaics. No two natural stones are exactly alike, even when they are of the same cut and have the same or similar colorations. The square focal stone is 1.5 x 1.5 inches in diameter, and the full pendant length is 1.5 inches. A teardrop green opal compliments the pendant. The necklace is 21 inches long and includes both square and oval Green Opals and toasty brown fine glass and sterling silver beading. Matching Earrings dangle approximately 1.5 inch from sterling silver lever-backed (hinged) earwires. |

| MINT GREEN CHALCEDONY PENDANT & NECKLACE
|
The translucent beauty of CHALCEDONY is evident in this faceted abstract-shaped stone Miriam used to design and craft this sparkling necklace. The focal stone is 1.5 x 1 inches, and the full pendant length is 2.25 inches. The pendant is accented with a sparkling, faceted crystal. Miriam used a highly “opulent” beading technique for the five-strand necklace, which includes a wide variety of glass beads, sterling silver and mint green-colored cultured pearls. The beads are strung on silk strands to maintain the romantic flow of the beading. The necklace length is 20 inches and has an ornate sterling silver clasp that coordinates with the bail on the pendant. This is an elegant piece for special occasions!
