NEW...CHRYSOCOLLA

CHRYSOCOLLA is characterized by intense splashes of vivid blues, blue-greens and greens, and marble-like markings. Chrysocolla that intergrows with turquoise and malachite is referred to as "Eilat Stone," since it is found in Israel near the town of Eilat. Variations of this beautiful gift of nature are also found in Chile, Peru, and the former USSR, Zaire, and the USA (Arizona).

The CHRYSOCOLLA focal stone shown here shows bright splashes of turquoise blue among the grey and deep blue-grey matrix. The abstract-shaped stone is heavy and measures approximately 1.75 (at its widest) x 1.25 inches long, and is about 0.25 inches thick at the center.  The total pendant length is 2.75 inches. It is accented with a disk-shaped Chrysocolla and sterling silver that was hand wrought by Miriam into a spiral. The necklace is designed with a single strand combination of square, oval and disk-shaped Chrysocolla and sterling silver, that transition into a triple-strand of fine Czech glass beads. The necklace is approximately 18 inches long. Matching Chrysocolla earrings are accented with generous sterling beading and dangle 1.5 inches from sterling silver lever-backed (hinged) earwires. The elegant facets of this Uniquely shaped CHRYSOCOLLA bring out the bright turquoise blues and greens of this exceptional stone, which is surrounded by intricately carved sterling silver beads and oval, square and disk-shaped beads. The focal stone is just more than 1.5 inches long and more than 0.5 inches in depth. The full necklace measures 16.5 inches, and has a sterling chain that extends the necklace to a full 18 inches. An oval Chrysocolla dangles from the end of the extension chain. Matching Chrysocolla earrings dangle 1.5 inches from sterling silver lever-backed (hinged) earwires.
