Beautifully carved SARD ONYX stones were selected by Miriam for this elegant 18-inch necklace. The white, grey, and soft brown colors of the round gemstones are combined with glass beads in beige and silvertones, along with large intricate Sterling Silver beads. (The center stone is approximately 0.75 inches in diameter.) Sard Onyx is a layer stone with a brown base and an upper white layer. The white layer is often used for gem carving and engraving, and for producing Cameos by expert engravers. Sard Onyx has been referred to as a Mexican Opal because of its translucent areas - but it does not have an opal "shimmer." The swirled sterling beads and clasp were chosen by Miriam to compliment the gentle, soft waves of these delicately cut stones.

CRAZY LACE AGATE has distinctive swirls of creamy whites, browns, blacks, golden and amber-yellows. Crazy Lace Agate is also found with similar swirls of reds and pinks. This stunning Crazy Lace Agate Pendant is 3.4 inches in length and 1.5 inches wide. The stone is heavy and nearly 0.25 inches thick at its center. The cream and amber-colored necklace has 4 strands and is 23 inches long.

The CRAZY LACE AGATE gemstones in this chunky Bracelet & Earrings duo show varying reds and pinks in a natural swirl of color. The bracelet is crafted for a larger wrist and is 8.5 inches long. The earrings are 0.75 inches. Miriam matched the stones to make a perfect set!

FIRE AGATES are named for their bright orange colorations and are usually milky and turbid (as compared to Fire Opals). This particularly large (1.5 inch) petal-shaped round stone has striking colorations that add to the interest of this wearable artwork. Fire Agate ovals and "buttons" accent the 18-inch contemporary design of the necklace. The Pendant is not removable from the Necklace.
