LEOPARDSKIN JASPER
LEOPARDSKIN JASPER is distinguished by its intricate circular "leopard-spot" markings. Colorations can range from brown and beige, to grey and black, to mauve, deep pink, peach, and cream, yellowish-brown, red-orange and reddish-browns - Often all on one stone! No two stone patterns are exactly alike. Miriam selected highly polished gemstones that show the most dramatic features of this outstanding example of Nature's artwork.
LEOPARDSKIN JASPER "OVAL" NECKLACE

The striking colorations of LEOPARDSKIN JASPER are evident in this lovely Necklace, which also has Sterling Silver Bali beads that complement the Leopardskin spots. Round, square and rondelle Leopardskin beads are used as accents. All the mauves, peaches, creamy whites, grays, red-orange, and reddish-browns create a real eye-catching piece! Full Necklace length is 23.75 inches. Priced at $375.
The oval Leopardskin Jasper stones in the Earrings are well-matched to the Necklace - as are the round & square stone earrings also shown on this page. The oval earrings dangle 1.25 inches from Sterling Silver leverbacks . Earrings sets are sold separately and priced at $140 each.

| CRAZY HORSE STONE
CRAZY HORSE STONE is a type of limestone material from China that exhibits natural circles and lines of varying colors and combinations. The natural stone used by Miriam is coated with clear epoxy to provide better luster and hardness. Like most natural stones, no two pieces are alike, showing varying shades and patterns. Miriam chose the stones shown here for their unique and dramatic patterns - showing muted tones of mauve and "blushing" pink-lavender, and various shades of grey.

| TURQUOISE
WITH OCEAN JASPER ACCENTS - SOLD
|
TURQUOISE literally means "Turkish
stone" because the original trade route that brought
it to Europe came through Turkey. There are many varieties
and colors, depending upon the stone's origin, and
Miriam tries to find stones with the most interesting
and unusual characteristics. The Green Turquoise
shown here is one of several varieties in Miriam's
Treasure Chest of gemstones. This petal-shaped rectangular
Pendant shows all the beautiful features of Turquoise,
including the dark grey and black veins of the host
rock. Such natural stones are called Turquoise Matrix.
This particular stone also has a splash of beige.
Miriam used natural Ocean Jasper beads to accent the
4-inch pendant, adding a unique touch. The New Jade
beading on the 4-strand Necklace provides additional
interest. The Necklace is 21 inches long.
